India Test Fires BrahMos missile

India today conducted a test of a newly built supersonic Brahmos cruise missile. The Brahmos cruise missile has been being jointly developed between Russia and India. The missile was fired at the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur. India in working along side with Russia on this new joint cruise missile venture has been building it to be a versatile missile that can be launched from a number of platforms including land based launches, air, boat, and sub launched. Along side the Supersonic version a more advanced version of the Bramos is in the works that is Hypersonic capable.
